Embody Movement Pilates Studio
At the Embody Movement Pilates Studio, students are encouraged to reach their fitness goals through the education of body awareness, breath, and imagery. The instructors have all earned several certifications in Pilates and other mind-body methods, and classes start as early as 6:30 a.m. All athletic abilities are welcome, and sessions include Try Pilates, Reformer Intro, and Reformer 101 Series for Beginners.
The Pilates Experience
The Pilates Experience is a quaint studio that makes everyone feel at home. Certified instructor Kathy Irish is well-known throughout the Chicago area, and she has been in the fitness industry since 1984. Her goal is to create a positive experience in the lives of others through Pilates, and students workout on state-of-the-art equipment. One of the classes she offers includes Golf Pilates. It focuses on increasing flexibility and strength and helps golfers improve their swing so they can gain a competitive edge.
Mindful Movement is where the mission is to combine the best of mind, body, and spiritual avenues through both fitness and therapy fusion classes. The studio is owned by friends Christy and April, and it’s one of the leading wellness centers in Chicago’s western suburbs. Students enjoy the serene setting, and the casual atmosphere allows strangers to become friends. Sessions are held seven days a week, and choices include Pilates Reformer Quartet and Pilates Spring Wall.
